Blanco tequila
Tequila bottled unaged, or rested under two months, so it tastes of the agave and little else: peppery, vegetal, a little sweet. Also sold as silver or plata.
It is what a cocktail means when it says tequila. The Margarita, the Paloma and the Tequila Sunrise are all built on it, and it is the class to keep if you keep one.
